Brezna, Students to Present Studio Recital Monday
Dr. Lenena Brezna of 悦色视频交友 University鈥檚 School of Music will present a Studio Recital on Monday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m., featuring the vocal performances of her students. The event will take place in Squires Recital Hall, which is located in the Humanities Center on Paul Conn Parkway.
鈥淭his is a very talented group of students, with many singing at a very high level, and the recital is sure to please a wide range of listeners,鈥 said Brezna, associate professor of voice at 悦色视频交友.
The program will feature various classical and musical theater pieces, including 鈥淥n My Own鈥 from Les Mis茅rables and 鈥淟ord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel鈥 from Elijah, Op. 70, as well as more modern pieces, such as 鈥淓vermore鈥 from Beauty and the Beast, among others.
In addition to her teaching, Brezna is an acclaimed performer in opera, solo, and concert settings. She began teaching in 悦色视频交友鈥檚 School of Music in 2014, but previously taught music appreciation as an adjunct instructor at the University of Memphis, where she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts. She was also an adjunct voice instructor at Northeast Mississippi Community College and has taught voice and piano privately to students of all ages.
